Hi!
I wanna to reconsider using wxperl in my project. I do not agree
with people that say gui/desktop applications are dead - only web browsers.
I think that at least in enterprises those applications are needed very much,
especially those which can be easily modifiable.
Now I have my main application made in Perl/Win32::GUI and want to
rewrite it for linux also therefore I look around for good cross-platform GUI
for Perl.
I tried Prima library; it's excelent but refreshing of the windows with many
data widgets is too slow. I'd got to rewrite some c code what is impossible
now for me.
Refreshing/updating windows with many data widgets is a crucial point.
Now my request.
AFAIK there is neither documentation nor fruitfull and easy examples.
So it is difficult to me to prepare some test application (to check the speed)
to value wxperl.
Maybe it would be encouraging for me (and others too?) if a wider spectrum
of wxperl screenshots was available. I saw the spectrum for wxwidgets
and it is encouraging, but it is c++.
Is it possible to see "the best" screenshots of your applications?
Regards,
wb.
