Hmm. These are unlikely to be related to changes in numeric.c,
though I don't know off-hand why the test suite would suddenly have
trouble locating things.

Now that is surprising, and it doesn't happen with a D_FLOAT build on
Alpha. Can you e-mail me a copy of your numeric.c off-list and I'll
check your patch application skills :-).
