I applied the numeric.c patch supplied by Hugo and modified by Craig. I
rebuilt and ran the test suit again. This is what I get:

1)---------------------------
ext/Time/HiRes/HiRes.................FAILED at test 17

(rerunning this test individually produces a success sometimes and a failure
others. As Craig said, it's very timing dependent.)

2)---------------------------
can't run './perl "-I." "-MTestInit" [-.lib]filetest.t 2>&1|': no such file
or d
irectory.
lib/filetest.........................FAILED at test 0
can't run './perl "-I." "-MTestInit" [-.lib.Filter.Simple.t]data.t 2>&1|':
no su
ch file or directory.
lib/Filter/Simple/t/data.............FAILED at test 0
can't run './perl "-I." "-MTestInit" [-.lib.Filter.Simple.t]export.t 2>&1|':
no
such file or directory.
lib/Filter/Simple/t/export...........FAILED at test 0
can't run './perl "-I." "-MTestInit" [-.lib.Filter.Simple.t]filter.t 2>&1|':
no
such file or directory.
lib/Filter/Simple/t/filter...........FAILED at test 0
can't run './perl "-I." "-MTestInit" [-.lib.Filter.Simple.t]filter_only.t
2>&1|'
: no such file or directory.
lib/Filter/Simple/t/filter_only......FAILED at test 0
lib/Filter/Simple/t/import...........FAILED at test 0

Running these individually works.

3)---------------------------
lib/Math/BigInt/t/bare_mbi...........FAILED at test 1
lib/Math/BigInt/t/bigintpm...........FAILED at test 1
lib/Math/BigInt/t/sub_mbi............FAILED at test 1

Running these individually produces:

1..2368
# Math::BigInt::BareCalc
Improperly handled condition, image exit forced.

LIB/MATH/BIGINT/T/BARE_MBI....FAILED at test 1
Failed 1 test script out of 1, 0.00% okay.

I liked it better before. At least it passed the first 2,325 tests before
blowing up.
4)------------------------
can't run './perl "-I." "-MTestInit" [-.lib.Math.BigInt.t]use_lib3.t 2>&1|':
no
such file or directory.
lib/Math/BigInt/t/use_lib3...........FAILED at test 0

This also works correctly when run by itself.
