Amen!

Although there is certainly some give-and-take among users of the various
OSes, the Perl community seems to be generally pretty tolerant of people of
another faith. Not only does Perl support VMS after Apache dropped it, but
core Perl now (as of April) supports MacOS classic, which had already been
replaced by MacOS X when the support was added. Wonder how many other
examples of retrocomputing product releases there are?
