LAST VMS exception!

You can post that text to vmsperl. Realize that there have
been various discussions of DII COE in various fora, and also
that there is not much that will be of use (outside of the
sites with an OpenVMS DII COE release installed) for most
sites prior to (at the earliest) V7.3-1.

and, the previous messages:

:Thanks for the update. Is there a specific public e-mail list or news
:group where the DII COE work on VMS is followed?

Not that I am aware of -- if you want to discuss this with some
of the local folks, I can get you connected with the product
manager. One of the earliest general releases of the features
will be in V7.3-1, with other changes to merge in in subsequent
releases. The merge of the V7.2-6C1 and V7.2-6C2 changes into
the mainline series of OpenVMS releases will require some time.

General information on the DII COE work is available at the
OpenVMS website. Specifically, at the official DII COE URL listed
in the FAQ and at the following Compaq OpenVMS DII COE URL:

    http://www.openvms.compaq.com/solutions/government/coe/

This Compaq URL will be added to the next FAQ, to supplement the
  existing DII COE reference.
