Adjusting paths is not a problem, once you know where things should go. 
Should your source RPMs be installable on Suse?

Bits like this one are extremely valuable to a newbie like myself. These 
things may be obvious to all of you, but I have to pick them up one by 
one, and it feels like the information around qpsmtpd is distributed 
very sparsely.

Please put this into the Wiki -- every newcomer has to somehow figure 
out how to install and run qpsmtpd on his server, and this is a very 
steep learning curve right now.
