Hi gents,

Recently there's been an effort to translate Cozens' Beginning Perl
book to the portuguese (in particular brazilian) language [1] and I
have been participating, to some extent, in this process. My enquiry
is regarding the major guidelines in translating perlish text, *that
could also be applied in contributions to the pod2.perl*:

Should datatype names be translated (hash, array, scalar, ...)?
Should the translator attain strictly to what has been written even
though some nuances of the original language may get lost in
translation?
Should variable names and prints get translated (e.g. print "Hello
$world" turned into print "Olá $mundo")

And mainly, will there be some place, other than the list archives, to
persist such knowledge? Is there already a faq for all this?
