Every once in a while some fascist proposes installing TV cameras in all 
public places, and I think, "Oh, God! Nothing good can come of this!" 
and resist heartily.

And then I get a message like this, and have to reconsider. Venice could 
pay for the maintenance on the cameras with the proceeds from their 
"Venice's Funniest Public Videos" program.
