That's what editor macros are for. What about replacing "->" with "/" ? 1: I can't think of a situation where you would want to either mathematically divide a reference to a container or get into specific elements of a number. 2: It would make descent into containers look like descent into unix file systems, which is sure to please users of plan9 OS. (Has Perl stolen anything from plan9 OS yet? Here's our chance.) david nicol
