The perl6 compiler currently does target imcc. What the final compiler 
will look like - how knows.

imcc is a very useful shortcut for writing a HLL. As long a perl6 is 
using it, discussion should be here (or in a new HL list, but low 
traffic frequency doesn't make it worth the effort, IMHO)
