This is my monthly report on work done during Aug-Oct covered by my TPF perl
core maintenance grant.

SUMMARY:
      4:52 make stack reference counted
     28:53 process p5p mailbox
      1:38 review OP_ANONAVHV_MT_RV - optimized empty (PR #20036)

Failed to do much for the last 3 months. Got stuck on the 'make stack
reference counted' work once I hit trying to get the 'goto &foo' tail-call
feature working under reference counting, then sort of collapsed in a heap.

Since then I've not really done anything except intermittently try to
catch up with my p5p mailbox (plus all that entails - responding to
questions, code review requersts etc). Today I am completely up to date
with my email - for for the first time in a while.

I intend to restart working on the 'make stack reference counted' project
as my next big task.
