Porters, If you contribute to perl5.git via GitHub, you will be *required* to have two factor authentication by the end of 2023. This is GitHub's requirement, not ours, although I'm in favor of it. You can read more on GitHub's blog post about requiring 2FA <https://github.blog/2022-05-04-software-security-starts-with-the-developer-securing-developer-accounts-with-2fa/>. Please consider getting ahead of the ball and setting this up now if you haven't. Right now, quite a few members of the Perl organization don't have this configured. You can check your GitHub security settings <https://github.com/settings/security>, under "Two-factor authentication", to enable this. I would like to require 2FA for the Perl org sooner than GitHub requires it, but it will kick out anybody without 2FA, and that means bookkeeping I don't want to do. So consider making my life easier by setting up 2FA now. Thanks to Todd Rinaldo for bringing this to my attention. -- rjbs
