For the record, p5p has nothing to do with it.  The public mailing
list appears to have been carefully and intentionally excluded from
the first few months of Perl 7 development, and there have been very
few and very incomplete and inconsistent replies here to the many
questions and objections raised, and no response at all to a number of
suggested modifications to the proposal that would make implementation
of the stated goals saner and more achievable.

Or, presumably, not at all.  I can't imagine why a Linux vendor would
add yet another package, among all the projects out there vying for
attention, that doesn't do anything they need or want and breaks all
the existing Perl code upon which they rely.
