This is a thank-you report for perl from anne@encs.concordia.ca,

notes for every version since I last read release notes,
and bumped into the "Give Thanks" paragraph.)

A huge THANK YOU to all you wonderful people who work on Perl.
I've used it every day at home and at work for a couple of
decades, and have barely scratched the surface of what it
can do!

I'm a huge fan of the taint checks; they help make me confident
that I'm not introducing problems - most of my code runs
as root.
