DAVEM TPF grant#2 report #183

Its been a couple of months since my last weekly report. This is partly
due to a gap in funding (the grant was extended on 3 Aug), and since
then I haven't actually done much TPF work (I've been mainly working on
things funded from other sources).

So this report notionally covers 5 weeks.

I spent a bit of time fixing a few 'blead breaks perl' tickets and that's
about it.
