Perl 5.24.1-RC5 is now available!

We are sorry for the long delay in announcing the fifth release
candidate of version 24.1, the first maintenance release of version 24
of Perl 5.

This release is identical to Perl 5.24.1-RC4 except that changes made to
base.pm have been reverted so that it is now identical to the version
that shipped in Perl 5.24.0.  Please see
