I've just rebased the patch in question against current blead, adding
a perldelta entry for it, and pushed it to
smoke-me/arc/unicode-range-operator.

What else did you have in mind for it to be considered complete?

I suspect I may have misled you by both attaching a full patch and
inlining only a small part of it in my message. But if there's
anything else you were expecting to see, please do let me know.
