Long ago I added support for the Splint source code analzyer (splint.org <http://splint.org/>). In the next day or two I’m going to throw away the last vestiges of it (Make targets, embed.pl, etc) in the Perl tree that haven’t already been removed. My understanding is that I should leave lib/, cpan/ and dist/ untouched. Splint has not been updated since 2007 and doesn’t even build for me. I’m assuming that nobody else is using the tool, either.
