That is definitely true for the core itself, because it must assure as maintained state as possible and ABI compatibility, but I'm not sure this also extends for modules. Perhaps someone knows this for certain. While I understand the benefit of this, I would personally go with Jim's perspective as well: A maintenance release, IMHO, should not carry additional features. It should be *the same* in functionality, other than security issues and selected bug fixes.Thread Previous | Thread Next
