This is a thank-you report for perl from nicolas.j.graf@gmail.com,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.40 running under perl 5.20.2.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
[Please enter your thank-you message here]
At first, i haven't used perl at all at this point. But now i'm here and
writing my first perl script in my whole life.
I'm sending this thank-you just because i found the "perlthanks" binary
because i typed "perl" and fish (nice shell btw)
said: "hey i found perthanks" and i thought "hm what is this?" and then i
started it and i saw for what purpose this thingy is, and now here i am.
So... yeah now i say THANKS for Perl at all.
And now a little info about my first perl-script i will ever write. I need
a little fetcher-script to use rrdtool with iptraf to show some ports
graphically as diagrams,
and yes i will to this with perl i think, i know perl can do nearly
anything, maybe perl is the right way to do this.
I read that you guys want to know how we devs are deving and idk if
anything down there leads to my Reaspberry Pi 2.. so i write it here.
I will be very sad if nobody reads my text here.. and if i will get an
answer i will be very happy :P but its not needed. I'm happy enough with
the fact,
that perl exists (and other languages, of course). But perl is the first
language i found where i can say thanks though the commandline. EDIT:
nevermind my RPi hasnt a working email configuration, so i send this from
gmail..
Sooo... have a nice day whoever will read this.
Greetings from Germany,
Nicolas Graf
