Or do you intend > the file to be in a separate branch? > I hadn't considered whether to drop it into blead or maint-5.20; a separate branch entirely, or even its own little perl5.git.perl.org repo, is also possible if you're concerned about commit histories getting swamped with too much noise. I'm not sure how much noise it will generate, but I had thought that having the history somewhere might be relevant if anyone ever wants to see who voted for a commit to be backported, now that such information won't be in the mailing list archives.Thread Previous | Thread Next
