Maybe have the ext/POSIX/Makefile.PL alter $Config{ccwarnflags} and 
$Config{ccstdflags} for FreeBSD10 by having it tie %Config to some fake 
ccwarnflags and ccstdflags settings ?

Just a thought (if it's practicable here) - it's a technique that has been 
used successfully before.
