I have encountered an odd issue with Fedora 20's version of Perl and I am
trying to get it fixed.

The issue is that the "y" and "X" commands do not function in their build
of Perl. I am not certain if it is something in the debugger itself or in
PadWalker.

The bugzilla report is: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1129850

The claim from the maintainer on Fedora is "it has been broken for a long
time". I have a hard time believing that.

Does anyone have a better idea what is going on here? I don't have the
time at the moment to root cause this. (I will this weekend, I hope.)

Switching distros is not an option. I have too many machines I will have
to fix.

Thanks!
