There is nothing wrong with that. Some people have good language design
skills, while others have good implementation skills. Both can bring
something to the discussion. I know personally that I'm rubbish at
language design, and I'm grateful if someone can tell me "that won't work
because X is already valid syntax"; conversely I can tell language
designers that their pet idea is unimplementable.
Think interior designer verses builder/decorator.
