I had a look at the whole history of this ticket, and the current status is not clear to me.

The report also lacks some sample code to reproduce the issue, so I don't know hot to reproduce it to help triaging the issue.

Besides that, the Changes file in release 2.31 is completely empty.

So, it would be helpful if someone could add a summary of the current status: is it fixed? has any of the provided patches been merged?
