I'm having problems reproducing this -- it works as expected on dromedary,
as well as on a Ubuntu 12 VM and on OSX with both clang and g++.
The branch changes some bits of Configure, mostly an attempt to improve the
directories Configure uses to find headers and libraries, but I can't
imagine any of the changes would cause this?
Any help here is appreciated!
