Attached is a patch showing what I mean, but I don't have a suitable
environment to test the actual NSGETEXECUTABLEPATH bit, so I can't
promise I didn't make any fatal typos :-)  (There shouldn't be any
differences between the code taken out of perl.c and put into caretx.c
other than the location).  Also, completely at a loss for a Tolkien
quote.
