Not only is the link broken, perlrepository is now just a stub
pointing to other pages, notably perlgit, which you can find here:
http://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git/blob/HEAD:/pod/perlgit.pod
but if you're starting from scratch with git, your best bet is
probably to just use cvs diff to generate patches and get your changes
into the public view sooner rather than later.
