One of the final bits of perlexperiment not yet removed or given an RT entry is "Unicode in Perl on EBCDIC." I think this entry should probably go. Either we reestablish perl on EBCDIC and, as I understand it, that means all its Unicodey bits work, or we just give up. Does this sound about right? Or do we envision a reestablished Perl-on-EBCDIC-platforms with "experimental" Unicode functionality? -- rjbsThread Next
