Hi everyone- In the last week alone, I've run into two situations where people misunderstood the deprecation warning from modules that are going to be removed from the core. Unfortunately, most people equate "deprecation" to "unsupported" or even "this is bad -- do not use". But that isn't correct here. I know this is all explained in the perldelta, and Ricardo has mentioned it in his presentations. But I think the misunderstanding is still pervasive. I humbly suggest that a little PR campaign from p5p would help. I will try to do my part with a blog post. -JeffThread Next
