gibibyte is the SI-prefix name for 2**30 bytes.
gibabyte seems to be nonsense (did you mean gigabyte, which is 10**9
For most tests, gigabytes vs gibibytes probably doesn't matter, but
with the types of tests we're performing I suspect we're looking at
2**31 boundaryes (2GiB where I32 overflows) rather than 2 * 10**9,
which is a bit below that.
