AFAICT, neither of Kent F's substantive doc patches made it into Perl
5.18.  But after those docs were submitted, discussion took off in an
entirely different direction.

Kent, Father C, rjbs, et. al.:  Do we need to keep this ticket open?

Or would we be better off starting a new RT?
