There were two sets of changes:

- updates to perlfaq - a relevant change has already been made to
perlfaq3, if any further changes are needed, please open a pull request
at https://github.com/perl-doc-cats/perlfaq

- Father Chrysostomos updated perldebug.pod to account for the missing
emacs/

I've partly applied the some of your perldebug.pod patch:

- I changed FSF to GNU

- I removed the Tom's "similar setup ... for interacting with any
vendor-shipped vi", since the code it refers to never seems to have made
it into perl (as you state).

My change is c5cd7eb8d3b26b447a91af83eb4138f62813310f.
