(also top-posting for good measure) These posts have been on p5p as long as I can remember. Parrot was once the future of Perl. It may not be that anymore, but it *still* runs Rakudo at this moment. And that is more or less the most advanced version of Perl 6. Do you really want to split up the Perl community? If anything, there could be a nicer way to bring this to the people that are trying to keep Parrot going for as long as it needs.
