I have been informed that I should have run "git remote prune origin" -- 
not just "git gc" -- before compiling that list.

Still, that only reduces the count from 108 to 84, so there are a lot 
more waiting to be cleaned up.

Several of the tickets helpfully have RT numbers in their names.  Here 
is the status of those branches.  With one possible exception, I think 
all these branches can be removed as the corresponding RTs have been 
marked resolved.
