Thanks.  As I recall, the corelist updating program can't be run safely more
than once.  It will add multiple ($cur_ver => { modules...}) pairs, rather than
updating one in situ.  Fixing that would make it easier to update the corelist
"all the time."  If you see another good option, instead, consider making a
ticket.  In the last two days I've had at least two people asking for "requires
no C hackery" tickets, so in theory there may be some more workers looking for
easy work... assuming you don't want the honor yourself. :)
