This is a bug report for perl from jdhedden@cpan.org,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.39 running under perl 5.16.3.

The attached patch upgrades the 'threads' module to v1.87.

The patch fixes threads bug #85140 such that signals to threads that
have finished running are ignored.
