Hi,

My 64-bit mingw64 (gcc-4.7.0) compiler is 2 years old.

I've just tried out a more recent build of 64-bit mingw64 (gcc-4.7.0) from
May 2012, and the bug is no longer present.
I might switch to using it instead.

I also have a mingw.org build of 32-bit gcc-4.7.0 that does not exhibit the
bug.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if I was to be the only person to ever build
perl using this 4.7.0 compiler ... and I'm therefore wondering whether it's
worth the trouble of addressing it from within the perl source.

Do you still want that pre-processor output ?

Cheers,
Rob
