We are pleased to announce perl 5.16.3-RC1, the first release candidate of the
4th maintenance release of version 16 of Perl 5.  Try saying that five times
fast!

You will soon be able to download Perl 5.16.3-RC1 from your favorite CPAN
mirror or find it at:
