back door to Perl on Google App Engine

Will Perl successfully build on any of the C to JVM compilers listed here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_virtual_machine#C_to_bytecode_compilers
or elsewhere? I ask because I'm considering migrating to appspot.com, which
will
run JVM.
