This is just a question, although it probably indicates that the 
docs should be clarified.

perlfunc says:
  A package statement affects dynamic variables only, including those 
  you've used "local" on, but not lexical variables, which are 
  created with "my", "state", or "our". 

I'm confused about that last bit which says "our" creates a lexical.

Under what circumstances is 'our' not affected by the current package?
