I thought that it was about just building and installing perl, and that all the information about running perl was only in pod/perlvms.pod > Another issue (?) is README.micro. It still exists, but is not linked by perl.pod, and therefore perlmicro.pod is not generated. I don't think that we should be installing README.micro.
