Perl is like sausage. You will enjoy it more if you don't see it getting made. -- Otto von Bismarck, noted CPAN contributor Despite that, I think it's important to avoid doing things behind closed doors. The doors are open. (You probably just don't want to go through them.) Starting with 5.15.9, the month's release manager and I will have two planning meetings to discuss the upcoming release. There will be an agenda, published beforehand. The meetings will be held on IRC. Anyone may come listen in, but "voice" will be limited. The planning meetings for 5.15.9 will be held on Mar 1 and Mar 15, at 23:00 CET. (That's Mar 1, 17:00 and Mar 15, 18:00 in America/New_York.) I do not expect them to last even one hour. They will be held in #onionsketch on irc.perl.org I will publish the agenda to p5p before Mar 1. Subsequent agendas may be published to the list or at a well-known URL. We'll see. -- rjbsThread Next
