Starting my perl adventure

Hi thanks for making Perl free and available for everyones use. Surely changed the world in many ways! 

I'm just starting out, I'm currently not a programmer, more like a make-shift sys-admin but would like to go more places so I hope that Perl can take me there. I hope that I can only dedicate my time and effort towards getting this right and learning the best I can. So yeah thanks again for the tools, I'm sure I'll find them useful :)
