You're way late to this thread. No one is suggesting that, not even I. I should have written that "it's not in keeping with the spirit of the license" (to distribute a subset under the same name) rather than "in violation of" and the rest of my comments (and the thread) continued in that regard. I would hope that the packagers of perl care enough about the wishes of upstream (and most seem to) to find constructive ways to find compromise. -- DavidThread Previous | Thread Next
