You know, I can't find it either, and I looked pretty hard for
it.  The thing is I specifically remember a demo that shows off
the confusabables, and now I can't find it anywhere I look.  It
was that demo that got me thinking about this, and realizing that
existing user-level mechanisms for defining one's own character
properties wouldn't allow one to implement this.  

If I come across it again, I'll let you know.

Yes, I would make that assumption on what kind they were looking for.
