While "perldoc -f XXXX" doesn't show it, a full "perldoc perlfunc" has
a lengthy opening section that discusses the issues.

Unfortunately, like much of Perl documentation, it's far to verbose
while still being incomplete. For example, it defines the term "LIST"
but doesn't define any of the other terms except to imply that they
are not in list context.

Possibly, EXPR should be replaced throughout with terms that are
descriptive of use.  E.g. "exit VALUE".  This would be consistent with
the use of "FILEHANDLE", "DIRHANDLE", "VARIABLE", "REF", "BLOCK", etc.
