FWIW, newer firefoxes deal just fine with it. I'm considering an "upgrade" to Firefox 3.6, as I'm fed up with how the later versions are so profligate with RAM. I'm *not* running CromeOS - there are things I want to on my machine in addition to running a webbrowser.
