And I'm sorry if things I wrote seemed to be patronising - this was most definitely not the intent with which they were written, and they were not meant to be readable as such. (I've been grumpy with myself all weekend for this) I seem to be dogmatically passionate about the Perl 5 core, and the reasons why I think things should be done roughly the way they are, and sometimes this gets the better of me.
