How often do I have to ask you to stop patronizing me?

I know maintaining core is a difficult task, and I have complimented
you about it in person a few times already. I will do it again and buy
you a beer on the next event that we meet. You do a lot of good work.

Do not assume that you (or in general "only the core" people) are the
only people around who understand the complication on maintaining large
projects. There are many more difficult and large projects in the world
than you can imagin.

Can we please get back to the attempt to get consensus about proposed
changes?
